Η χαλάρωση των αυστηρών για τους επιβάτες μέτρων της Ryanair και η sexy φωτογράφιση των αεροσυνοδών της στα Χανιά.

Από τον Νοέμβριο και μέχρι τον Δεκέμβριο 2013 θα χαλαρώσουν κάποια αυστηρά μέτρα για τους επιβάτες της Ryanair. Οι συγκεκριμένες αποφάσεις θα ισχύσουν σίγουρα μέχρι τέλους Μαρτίου 2014 χωρίς όμως να γνωρίζουμε αν συνεχίσουν και για το προσεχές καλοκαίρι.

Τα μέτρα είναι :
Α) δωρέαν δεύτερη χειραποσκευή στην καμπίνα επιβατών
Β) μείωση από 60 ευρώ στα 30 ευρώ το κόστος βαλίτζας
Γ) μείωση από 70 ευρώ στα 15 ευρώ η έλλειψη τυπωμένης κάρτας επιβίβασης
Δ) 24 ώρες περιθώριο για αλλαγή των στοιχείων μετά από on line κράτηση
E) στις πρωινές και νυχτερινές πτήσεις δεν θα γίνεται ο χαμός των ανακοινώσεων (φαγητό, ποτά, λοταρία, παιγνίδια, αρώματα) και θα υπάρχουν χαμηλωμένα φώτα.

The days of eye-watering fines, extra charges at every turn and relentless announcements on Ryanair flights could coming to an end, the airline suggested today.

Passengers who are so presumptuous as to buy a bottle of wine in duty free or carry a small handbag as well as a carry-on bag will no longer be penalised.

A second small carry-on bag will be permitted from December 1, when a whole tranche of improvements are introduced. This can be up to 35cmx20cmx20cm - about the size of a handbag

If you choose to put a bag in the hold, from January 5 you will be charged £30 at the bag drop desk – and not £60 as is currently the case.

The fee to check in bags at short notice at the boarding gate will drop from £60 to £50, bringing the fees in line with competitior airline standard airport bag fees.

If you book on the Ryanair website, you will have a 24-hour grace period after you book to correct any minor errors, for example in spellings, names or routings.
Until now, unfortunate souls who checked in online but did not print a boarding card were stung with a £70 fee at the check in. This will now be cut to £15. But those who do not check in online at all will still pay a £70 airport check-in fee.
From November 1, Ryanair will operate 'quiet flights' prior to 8am and after 9pm. During these quiet flight periods, no announcements will be made on board other than required safety messages.
Ryanair will also dim the lights during these flights to customers who wish to snooze can do so more comfortably.
The changes will cover the period up to the end of March 2014, so it remains to be seen if the relaxation of restrictions will carry on into the busy summer 2014 months.
The announcement comes after Ryanair's rambunctious chief executive Michael O'Leary told shareholders at Ryanair’s annual meeting last month that the firm should try to ‘eliminate things that unnecessarily p*** people off’.
Mr O'Leary commented on the announcement today: 'We are very excited at these significant improvements in what is already Europe's No 1 customer service airline. As we implement our plans to grow from 80 million to over 110 million customer p.a. over the next five years, we are actively listening and responding to our customers.'

Critics of Mr O'Leary have deemed his approach to customers cavalier in the extreme. In his frequent media conferences the Ryanair boss has done little to persuade others that he cares deeply about his passengers.

Of late, he has appeared almost conciliatory.

Perhaps it was the aftermath of the airline’s September profit warning – even as rival easyJet’s fortunes continued to soar – that chastened the seemingly incorrigible chief executive. Ryanair blamed the hot summer, rather than its cool treatment of customers, for the downgrade.
But Britain’s heatwave does not seem to have done easyJet much harm. And O’Leary’s pledge to treat customers with a bit more respect hints at a growing awareness that their patience is wearing thin.
